Unfortunately, the team was unable to compete in the Riot-sanctioned GPL due to a newly implemented age restriction that required players to be seventeen years old to play in any official league. The Flash Wolves finished second in groups, but lost in the quarterfinals to World Elite and achieved a top eight finish. The Gamania Bears had automatically qualified for both the 2014 LoL Nova League (LNL) Winter and 2014 GPL Winter, and passed their berths to the Flash Wolves.Īdditionally, the team was able to compete at the 2013 World Cyber Games (WCG) Taiwan Qualifiers, where they defeated two Taiwanese powerhouses in Taipei Assassins and ahq e-Sports Club, earning a berth in the main tournament. The IRONMEN forfeited their match and reformed their roster on October 21, adopting the roster of the recently disbanded Gamania Bears and rebranding as the yoe Flash Wolves.
